Hey everyone ! You know how we were talking with Mr.Bowen on thursday about how the rest of the characters change in the story exept for Cap. And I said maybe it's becaus Cap changes them .Well I found a peice pf evidence to go with it. It is on page 192 the qoute is '' I was blown away .One after another ,these kids took center stage and poured their hearts out about how Cap changed their lives.'' See right there you can see that CAP changes their lives .

I agree with you Emily. I think that Cap did a lot for those people even though they didn't know that at first. He changed them (in a good way) and I think that they will always remember him for that.-Sarah W
ReplyDeleteI agree with you as well Emily.I think that Cap showed everyone how to do things in a whole different way and he did not change in the process,they did.Instead of allowing other students like Naomi,Sophie,Zach and Hugh to teach him how to do things in a different way,he stuck with what what he thought was right. I noticed that Sarah W said that Cap changed them in a good way,I am just going to describe how he changed them.I think Cap changed everyone to do what they think is right and do what they enjoy.On page 73 Cap says,"The hospital,NOW!" He is doing what he thinks is right by saving Mr.Rodrigo,although it is against the law,and on page 58 Sophie says,"Or hogging the kitchen table eating those organic soy nuts Mom bought for him." Cap likes eating soy nuts,and even if somebody thinks it's gross,he eats them because he likes to.I think this is the lesson Cap teaches everybody,and they will be thankful for that.
ReplyDeleteThat is right finally someone says that and inn our novel group we noticed how Cap changes people but Cap himself doesn't change at all because since he's from Garland the kids at the school has never seen what Garland is so when he sings the Beatles with his guitar people like to sing with him. Or when he's doing Tai Chi and has a class almost every mourning , Or Tie Dying T-shirts HE changes people He is the nicest guy in the school and saying goodbye to EVERYONE in the whole shool pretty THOUGHTFUL !
