THE FURNACE MONSTER!

Hello everybody! Sorry I haven't bloged yet but here goes . Why is Zinkoff so afraid of the Furnace monster? I mean what's so scary about it any way? It all happened on chapter 14 on page 84.It starts at the part where it says ''In respect,however,he is like almost all children .He fears the darkness of the celler . And even then,it isn't strickly the darkness that he fears .It's what dwells in the darkness the Furnace monster.'' I mean mean like what is so scary about that?

Hi guy's I found some parts in the book that really show how Zinkoff is a loser and howZinkoff's  second grade teacher is rude  here is one. It's in chapter 10on page 50 ''Here she is ,all bright and shiny for first day ,and this kid in the front rowcan't wait till he graduates from high school .It's insulting and disrespctful . She comes closer thanshe ever has before to saying, ''That's a dumb question.'' Instead ,she says,''Don't worry about it . You'll be out of school soon enough''.For could she say that to a kid I must say it's a preety neat question. What do you think?

I predict that the the book is called loser that it's about a boy who likes runing races and he always loses thoughs races and he doesn't even notice it . To prove this on page 7 when the author was talking about how everyone loved running and everyone won and then the auther get's to the part about Zinkoff the author say's '' exept for Zinkoff . Zinkoff never wins. But Zinkoff doesn't notice .'' That is a quote in the start of the book that proves my predtion .

Hi everyone ! Sorry I haven't blog yet this week but here goes . I know that we should talk about the thesie statement of the book and I think that it is don''t judge a book by it's cover . I think this because this is the very same thing that happened to Cap in the start of the book .On page 17 it starts at '' Hugh Winkleman , your a lucky man .With the arrival of this new kid ,all the losers in school  were bumped down one space .Never before had anyone screamed for the job of eighth grade president like Capricorn Anderson.'' I chose this part to prove my answer because Zach said this because he thought Cap was a total loser and could make him a bigger loser .He thought this because he judged Cap first and thought he could do anything to pick on him . That is the exact thing that happens when you judge a book by it's cover and that is why I chose it as my thesie statement .

HI I'm Emily!

  Hey everyone ! You know how we were talking with Mr.Bowen on thursday about how the rest of the characters change in the story exept for Cap. And I said maybe it's becaus Cap changes them .Well I found a peice pf evidence to go with it. It is on page 192 the qoute is '' I was blown away .One after another ,these kids took center stage and poured their hearts out about how Cap changed their lives.'' See right there you can see that CAP changes their lives .

YAY FOR CAP!

Yes! I have finally found my favourite part in the book . It has a mikchare of yay for Cap and a big pourchiun of the bad guy is almost deffeted . Bad guy is aka [Zach Powers].Where you can find my favourite part is at page 123 starting at ''Those filtered rays were shining now on the haystack of Sasquatch hair .My favourite part ends at Hugh Winkleman . This is my favourite part because in there Cap finally makes it all the way up to the popular group after being a great person to everyone els and now at lunch he eat's at Zach's lunch spot at the popular table .It's also great to because Zach got his own lunch all over him . Fanilly he get's a taste of his own medicine. Oh I would love to say that to his face if I could be in the book . There is one off side to my favourite part now that Cap's with the popular group Hugh and Cap won't be real friends . Even though I must say Hugh wasn't really much of a friend because he was really only with Cap because he felt sorry because Cap was voted president and that really sucked being president in the 8 grade in that school . Cap going to jail?

Why don't police officers in the book just learn that Cap won't stop driving until he is at the right age . I mean like on page 3 he drove with out a license to take Rain to the hospital in the city because there was non close to where they lived . Also on chapter 11 whicthe started out on page 72 when Mr.Rodrigo had a heart attack on the school bus Cap again drove the bus to the hospital  instead of pulling over like the person on the radio told him to do .And in the end of that chapter on page 76 Cap got arrested and unrested at the same time again .But this time the police officer thretenend him that if he does it again he will go to jail . What do you think ?
